St. Edward's has an ever expanding Angel Tree Program.
It began to give those in our parish community. Over the years due to the generous outpouring not just from the parish but the entire Lowell community, it has grown immensely. Our Angel Tree Program has been able to include not only children and teens of Lowell, but also the residents of the Lowell Healthcare and Cedar Creek Health Campus.
In the last 7 years, together with the help of the whole community we've been able to help over 1000 children, over 500 nursing home residents.
Lowell Senior High School has become a huge giving partner, with the students and staff donating to help over 45 children every year. You can view the letter they send out in 2023 here. You can also view the Presentation they share with the students here. The video below is also included and features our Lead Elves, Anne and Mary.
The Angel Trees are usually set up mid November and are open for anyone to participate.
Angel Tags to choose from include both children and nursing home residents.
Simply choose a tag (or 2 or more!), fill out the bottom portion with your contact information and drop in a basket (will only be used in order to contact about the angel tree; will not sell or be used in any other manner).
Gifts should be dropped off at St. Edward's by the date on the tags, usually early December.
Gifts for children should be unwrapped.
Gifts for adults should be wrapped.
Can't shop yourself? Donations for other shoppers, wrapping paper, and gift bags/boxes are also accepted. Monetary donations should be designated to "Angel Tree" and may be sent to the office.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
